While technology has evolved, there still remains the reasonable expectation that companies will be responsible stewards of data. From a technological standpoint, however, it’s become quickly apparent that we’re in unchartered territory where inconsistency and unpredictability are a recipe for disaster. This recognition is driving stakeholders – individuals, corporations and governments – to address the need for systematic and profound set of rules and frameworks as it pertains to data governance.
