Brenda Boone has spent the last 30 years in the field of aviation. For the most recent 22 years she was the founder and CEO of Human Solutions, a human engineering company that bid and won large-scale federal contracts with the Federal Aviation Administration and NASA. With her background in Industrial Psychology, Brenda’s company designed and implemented systems focused on the users instead of the traditional engineering approach of having humans adapt to the system.

Over the years, Brenda has received many professional and humanitarian awards, and she is highly respected and a well-known collaborative thought leader in the industry. She has spoken at hundreds of conferences around the world. Her niche company help to modernize the National Airspace System by using human-centered designs to build and implement air traffic control programs as well as systems for the cockpit. After 22 years in the driver’s seat, she sold her company in 2017.

From a very young age, Brenda has supported women’s and children’s rights. She established the Brenda Boone Hope Center in 2007 (now Ripples International) in Kenya. To date, this full-care facility has provided medical, legal and psychological care services for over 400 girls who have been raped.

Brenda grew up on the East Coast and has always been in involved in local cleanups for the ocean and the coral reefs of Florida.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Theory and Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology.
