JD Lindeberg is President and CFO of Resource Recycling Systems Inc., in Ann Arbor, MI, which consults with government entities, universities, hospitals and private businesses on their recycling programs and materials use.

He joined RRS in 1990 and held progressively more responsible positions as the firm grew from five to 40 people, with a span of work that began with an exclusive concentration in recycling and composting solutions to now incorporating a wide range of sustainability services including energy, water, and packaging. Lindeberg combines his engineering technical skills with a background economics to bring full system solutions to complex problems and specializes in financial modeling, market assessment, project management and green building. Previously, he was a consulting engineer and a Peace Corps Volunteer.

Lindeberg studied civil engineering at Dartmouth College and Stanford University, and earned a Master’s Degree of Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
