Susan Levitt is a Managing Director and the Group Head of Issuer Marketing for KBRA Rating Agency. KBRA entered the rating agency market after the 2008 credit crisis to restore creditability to the sector. In just four years, KBRA has rated over 2000 credits. Susan is the founding member of the firm’s Issuer Marketing Group. By developing an integrated marketing plan across multiple fixed income platforms, Susan has built a team that developed a substantial issuer and investor base. Her team has contributed to the creation of a brand that is now recognized as a standard of excellence.

For more than twenty years, Susan has worked in the financial services sector in marketing, sales, operations and portfolio management. Previously, Susan served as a Director at Citigroup, where she was a founding member of the Financial Institutions Capital Markets Desk. In that capacity, she was instrumental in developing the Mid-Sized Commercial Bank, Yankee Bank and Automotive franchises. At Toyota Motor Corporation, she served as National Treasury Manager and was responsible for the North American Funding Team effort.

Susan was the Treasurer and is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors for the Rodeph Sholom School. She is currently a member of the Joint Business Affairs Committee for Rodeph Sholom School and Temple in Manhattan. During her tenure as Treasurer, she restructured the operations, presided over a major capital campaign and established financial models to provide for the future growth of the institution.

She holds a B.S. in Management from Cornell University and an M.B.A from The Anderson Graduate School at UCLA.
