Thomas is founder and owner of Scheiwiller Impacts, a sustainability and corporate responsibility practice, based in Zurich. He advises clients on governance, risk, compliance, integrity and sustainability issues with extensive experience in consumer goods, pharma and life sciences, financial services and mining industries. Previously, he was the Global Head of Advisory Business at Accountability and before that spent more than 10 years as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held a variety of roles, including Global Managing Partner of Sustainability Advisory Services worldwide. For five of those years he served as PwC’s global lead Partner for Nestlé.
Thomas is a chairman and member of several accounting and sustainability reporting organizations, currently serving as a board member of Swiss-based Sosential, which supports social entrepreneurs, as well as Sanu, the Swiss foundation for environmental education. He is a SASB advisor council ambassador and Jury member of the Zurich Insurance Group’s Swiss Climate Award. Thomas, who earned a PhD in Physics from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, teaches Governance & Ethics at Lorange Institute for Business (Executive MBA program) and Compliance & Sustainability at University of St. Gallen’s Executive School of Management.
