William Burckart is Co-founder and President of TIIP – The Investment Integration Project. TIIP helps institutional investors understand the big picture, or “systems-level,” context of their portfolio-level decisions. Investors leverage TIIP’s data and tools to solve program inefficiencies, enhance impact measurement, and boost absolute returns. Prior to forming TIIP, Bill was an independent advisor helping clients integrate their philanthropic and investment goals through the sourcing, structuring and execution of impact investment strategies across a range of sectors. He served on the Working Capital Group of the national Micro Capital Task Force (MCTF) and co-founded Impact Economy. Bill is the author of Serving Client Demand for Impact Investing: A Hands-on Guide for Financial Advisors and Senior Management (2014), managed the production of and is a contributing author to the New Frontiers of Philanthropy (2014), and was involved in the writing of the Status of the Social Impact Investing Market: A Primer (2013) that was distributed to policymakers at the inaugural G8-level forum on impact investing.
Bill is also a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
