Zheng Xiaoping, Director of BAZO Group, has over 27 years of urban related experience of which 14 focused on the China’s urban development market. Xiaoping has lead BAZO in working with 26 China city governments including Shanghai, Nanjing, Zhuhai in completing advisory works for a total of 1850 square kilometers of sustainable urban development and infrastructure projects. His development proposal of the Nanjing Qinhuai Riverbank in 2013 has assisted Nanjing city in winning the “The Habitat Scroll of Honor Special Citation” from UN-Habitat in 2008, first time award to a Chinese city. Prior to his work in China, Xiaoping had 13 years working experience in the USA, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Xiaoping has been invited to 11 countries presenting China’s investment strategies and opportunities. He is the Lead-author of the book “Creative China City” – a book that has earned wide acclaim from city mayors and urban development decision makers. Xiaoping’s other social roles include: Founder and VP of the China City Development Foundation (CCDF); VP of the Innovative Finance Association (CIFA); He was lecturer at the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong for aspiring city mayors on “Creative urban development”; and at the Harvard University GSD Executive Program for institutional investors on “How to Invest in China Real Estate.”
