Cornerstone Capital Inc. has reached an agreement to become one of the earliest for-profit tenants at The Alliance Center in Denver and will participate in the building’s Grand Reopening festivities on Aug. 14th. The space will accommodate the firm’s new Investment Management practice.
“We are pleased to have been able to find the perfect space to house our growing operations,” said Phil Kirshman, CFA, Chief Investment Officer at Cornerstone Capital Investment Management (CCIM). “Moving to the new location puts us in terrific company with other sustainably oriented organizations and gives us the opportunity to meet our future needs.”
CCIM will work closely with institutions, private companies, foundations, family offices, trustees, and directly with families to plan, strategize, implement and provide continuous reporting on sustainable investment strategies and initiatives.
“With the addition of Cornerstone Capital to The Alliance Center’s mix of sustainability focused tenant-partners, we now have shared access to the expertise of financial professionals who are dedicated to sustainable investing for their clients,” said Anna Zawisza, Executive Director of the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado, which owns and operates the building. “All of us here at the Center understand the importance of collaborating with individuals and organizations from all disciplines to make sustainability a reality, and we are excited to have Cornerstone be a part of this community.”
Cornerstone Capital joins Sierra Club, Conservation Colorado, Bike Denver and Wild Earth Guardians at the Wynkoop Street property, a flexible office space with shared amenities. The firm, which is headquartered in New York, also operates out of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The Alliance Center is a living example of collaboration and sustainability at work, providing healthy and collaborative office spaces to allow organizations to work together, leverage each other’s initiatives, and share activities and services. The 100-year-old building in historic LoDo is designed to support and enhance the missions of its tenant partners as well as spur innovation and drive sustainability forward.
