, February 20: I spent a fascinating few days in Davos recently, participating in two of many events timed to coincide with the annual gathering of the World Economic Forum. The world’s elites – heads of state, executives of the world’s largest corporations, leading figures from academia, the media and non-governmental organizations – convened in closed-door sessions behind tight security. Meanwhile, these side events brought together the pragmatic practitioners to discuss how they can translate the WEF’s theme of “Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World” into action.
